The site, revealed within the image, shows a 'Top App list worker' within their work environment, featuring a simple shelf that contain hundreds of iPhones. In a room loaded with such workstations from a single side to another, mobile phone labor takes place at a commercial level. Putting it simple, an employee downloads (and removes and downloads, etc.) an app to enhance its rank on the App Store, determined by how frequently the app has been downloaded. One worker can easily work as around 100 unique users.


if you ever wanted to get your app into the Top 10 Free Apps list, you'll have to pay approximately $11,200 and for maintain it there, you would have to pay a “maintenance” charge of $65,000 per week, ouch! There may also be monthly costs with discussions taking place throughout the QQ messaging service.




To its part, Apple has directed a difficult line on rankings cheats. Apple states within the guidelines for developers that any work to cheat the program will likely be dealt with swiftly and severely:

"If you attempt to cheat the system (for example, by trying to trick the review process, steal data from users, copy another developer's work, or manipulate the ratings) your Apps will be removed from the store and you will be expelled from the developer program."
"Developers who attempt to manipulate or cheat the user reviews or chart ranking in the App Store with fake or paid reviews, or any other inappropriate methods will be removed from the iOS Developer Program"
